School Bus Services To Winchcombe 2023/24

Starting Tuesday 5th September 2023

Like all bus and coach operators we are facing substantial increases in the price of fuel and other operating costs including wages. This year we have been mindful of the impact of the cost-of-living crisis is having on the families who use our services. We have been working closely with the Governors of Winchcombe School, as they understand that transport to school can result in a significant cost to families, and they are keen to support families throughout their time at the school. Following those discussions, we are pleased to announce that the school will be providing a financial grant of 25% towards the costs of all academic bus passes for Winchcombe School pupils using our M15 & M18 services for the next academic year.

The costs are as follows:

£50.00 deposit at time of booking and then £700.00 to be paid in full by no later than 31st August 2023 or at the time of purchased if after this date. The Financial Grant is non-refundable and if students leave the school this amount will be deducted from their adjusted account

£50.00 at time of booking and then £86.11 per month = £824.99 (first payment taken on 1st September 2023 - final payment taken on 30th April  2024). The financial Grant is non-refundable and if student leave school this amount will be deducted from their adjusted account.

Any parent or guardian who already has a child using any of our school bus routes will be entitled to claim a 5% discount on the cheapest route for the second and all subsequent children travelling.

To apply for this sibling discount email:hometoschool@marchants-coaches.com referencing your child or children's name's and school route's so we can apply this discount, once you have initially securerd a seat.

After purchasing your child’s annual bus pass, we will require a passport style photo so we can produce the bus pass.  You can supply your child’s picture by emailing a Jpeg photo, please state the child name and what route they are on to hometoschool@marchants-coaches.com
