Queens Diamond Jubilee
This unique tour will give you the chance to experience history in the making, a once in a lifetime event. You will be staying in the heart of London, close to Marble Arch which will allow you to be early risers to get the best view points of the various events. The Diamond Jubilee marks 60 years of The Queen’s reign. The Queen came to the throne on 6th February 1952 (her Coronation took place on 2nd June 1953). At this time the full itinerary of events has yet to be announced but with it being a bank holiday weekend there will be a lot to see and do. One event that has been announced is a flotilla of ships on the Thames.
Day 1:
You will travel to our hotel, with a comfort stop en-route, arriving mid afternoon.
Day 2 - 3:
You will be free to enjoy the festivities and your stay at one of London’s top hotels.
Day 4:
Your coach will return mid morning at a time to be advised, and will return you to Gloucestershire, with a comfort stop en-route arriving mid afternoon.

Just 10 minutes walk from Oxford Street and the West End it is ideally situated for taking in a show, shopping, walking in Hyde Park or hopping on a tour bus and seeing the sights. This holiday is on a bed and breakfast basis but the hotel boasts two renowned restaurants, and of course nearby are hundreds of eating places. All rooms are fully en-suite with many other facilities.
