Shanklin
‘Isle of Wight’
Visit the ‘Shanklin Chine’ and is scenic footpath, or wander along the towns safe, sandy beach. This beautiful town on the Isle of Wight is a popular tourist destination for all ages. With pier entertainments and funfairs to elegant shops in the centre, Shanklin has everything you could ask for.
Day 1:
Travelling south to Portsmouth, we cross the solent by ferry to Fishbourne. After driving around the island we will arrive at our hotel in Shanklin with time to relax before our dinner in the evening.
Day 2 - 4:
Whilst in Shanklin we have organised two day excursions to help you get the most out of the Isle of Wight as possible. With possible visits to Alum Bay, Godshill, Ryde or Newport, you will be able to see some of the amazing sights of the Isle of Wight. There will be an inclusive visit to Osborne House as part of one excursion.
Day 5:
Departing after breakfast for our ferry crossing back to Portsmouth, we will stop en-route and should arrive back in Gloucestershire late afternoon.
