Beamish and the Great North Steam Fair

Travel back in time with us and enjoy one of Beamish Living Museum’s biggest events of the year: ‘The Great North Steam Fair’. For all lovers of the smell of steam this holiday offers you a chance to not only visit the museum but also inclusive entrance into the event.

Day 1:

We leave Gloucestershire in the morning and make our way up towards Washington with comfort breaks on the way, arriving at the hotel with time to check-in before the evening meal.

Day 2:

We leave for the Beamish Living Museum and its steam fair event after breakfast. As one of the largest living museums in the UK there are many things to see and do. Spend the day watching locomotives go between the station and the colliery, or walk around the Victorian town. There will be many vintage vehicles, rollers, traction engines and vehicle guest appearances on show.

Day 3:

After checking out from the hotel we travel south with a suitable lunch and comfort stop en-route to arrive back in Gloucestershire in the late afternoon.
