Black Forest - 9 Days
Day 1:
We leave Gloucestershire early in the morning and travel to the south coast, to board the shuttle, and make our crossing to France. We travel south to our overnight hotel in Reims.
Day 2:
After breakfast we tour across the Ardennes to our main hotel at Oberharmersbach where we will be met with a welcome drink and our evening meal. We have also arranged a Distillery visit with tasting (times will be given by your driver).
Day 3:
After breakfast there will be a walking tour of Oberharmersbach with a inclusive visit to the local museum followed by a tour to Zell am Harmersbach on the little train. In the afternoon you will be treated to Black Forest Gateaux and Coffee.
Day 4:
There will be an excursion on the coach to explore part of the region and after your evening meal traditional music and dancing entertainment.
Day 5:
Free day to explore the town at your leisure. In the evening we have a BBQ with music and dancing.
Day 6:
There will be an excursion to another of the many points of interest in the region, returning to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day 7:
There will be an excursion to another of the many points of interest in the region, returning to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day 8:
After breakfast and loading of the coach we travel across into France and make our way back to Reims for our overnight stay, arriving in time to have a short visit to the town before checking into the hotel and having our evening meal.
Day 9:
After breakfast we travel back to Calais to board the shuttle and once back in England make our way, with a comfort stop en-route, and arrive back in Gloucestershire early evening.
We would advise passengers to have an overnight bag for the outward and return journey.

The name is roughly translated as the Bear Room from an interesting tale of King Wenceslas IV hiding in the stable in 1376. This Country House style hotel combines stylish hospitality with a contemporary setting. The bedrooms are all en-suite with shower and toilet, and all rooms have satellite TV. There is a beautiful terrace where on pleasant evenings you may eat or drink and on day 5 of the tour will host the BBQ.
