Spring in the Lakes - 4 Days
With our new partnership with the Strathmore Group we would like to invite you to the tranquil and charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands. Virtually untouched by the industrial revolution, remained quiet and alone until the coming of the railway in 1857. The English Lakes and Furness Peninsula give wonderful scenic areas to visit.
Day 1:
We depart and head north and with a suitable lunch stop and comfort stop en-route we arrive at our hotel with ample time to relax before your evening meal.
Day 2 - 3:
During your stay we have arranged two day excursions which will include an inclusive trip on both the Haverthwaite Railway and a boat trip on Lake Windermere (subject to timetable restrictions).
Day 4:
After our final breakfast, we depart from our hotel and retrace our outward journey, and with a comfort/lunch stop en-route arrive back in Gloucestershire late afternoon.

The hotel is set in 25 acres of garden and woodlands, located just 10 miles from Windermere it offers a warm friendly welcome on the shore of Morecambe Bay. The hotel offers en-suite rooms with colour Satellite TV, Radio, Direct dial telephone, Hospitality tray and central heating.
