The Melbourne Ardenlea - Shanklin Isle of Wight

Day 1:
We depart from Gloucestershire and travel to join our ferry at Portsmouth, crossing the Solent to Fishbourne. We then drive around the island and arrive at our hotel in time to relax before our evening meal.
Day 2 - 4:
During your stay we have arranged 2 day excursion’s to help you get the most of the island with possible visits to Alum Bay, Godshill, Ryde and Newport. There will be a free day to explore Shanklin or catch the local bus or train to visit one of the many attractions nearby.
Day 5:
We depart the hotel after breakfast and make our way back to the ferry port for our return crossing to Portsmouth, then with a comfort stop en-route will arrive back in Gloucestershire late afternoon.

Set back above the beach at Shanklin is the Melbourne Ardenlea Hotel, next to the beautiful wooded ‘Chine’ Valley and thatched old village. The hotel offers a large indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. All rooms are en-suite with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities & a lift to most floors.
