Charlton Lane, Road Closure On Monday 15th September 2025

 

We have been advised by Gloucestershire County Council of the following road closure:

 

Location of closure:

Charlton Lane, Cheltenham

 

Road closed from:

07:00 on Monday 15^th September 2025

 

Road closed until:

17:00 on Monday 15^th September 2025

 

This road closure is to allow patching of a section of carriageway at the above location to repair localised faults and improve the condition of the road.

 

Diversionary route:

This service will travel in both directions between Bafford Approach and Old Bath Road via Sandy Lane, Highland Road, Parkland Road, Littledown Road, Southfield Approach and Everest Road.

 

We are unable to serve the following bus stops:

• Greenhill Road (Sandy Lane) – AM journey

• Sandy Lane (Greenhills Road) – PM journey

 

Your nearest bus stop is located at:

• 07:57 Bafford Approach (opposite Stockton Close) or 08:01 Old Bath Road (Mead Road) – AM journey

• 16:12 Old Bath Road (opposite Mead Road) or 16:15 Bafford Approach (Stockton Close)

Wednesday 1st October 2025 Special PM Timetable

 

We will be operating a special timetable for Winchcombe School pupils using our M15, M16 & M19 services on Wednesday 1^st October 2025, due to the school finishing early to allow preparation for their open evening.

 

Buses will depart from the normal bus stops within the school grounds at 14:10 and operate the normal routes.

Wednesday 24th September 2025 Special PM Timetable

 

We will be operating a special timetable for Cleeve School pupils using our M15 service Wednesday 24^th September 2025, due to the school finishing early to allow preparation for their open evening.

 

Our M15 service will depart from the normal bus stop opposite Cleeve School on Two Hedges Road at 14:25, and will serve the following bus stops:

 

• High Street (opposite War Memorial), Prestbury at 14:35

• Swindon Lane (Golden Miller Road Footpath), Wymans Brook at 14:40

• Church Road (opposite Rivelands Road), Swindon Village at 14:45

 

 

Wednesday 1st October 2025 Special PM Timetable

 

We will be operating a special timetable for Cleeve School pupils using our M15 service Wednesday 1^st October 2025, due to Winchcombe School finishing early to allow preparation for their open evening.

 

Our M15 service will depart from the normal bus stop opposite Cleeve School on Two Hedges Road at 15:53, and will serve the following bus stops:

 

• High Street (opposite War Memorial), Prestbury at 16:00

• Swindon Lane (Golden Miller Road Footpath), Wymans Brook at 16:05

• Church Road (opposite Rivelands Road), Swindon Village at 16:10
