From Monday 2^nd June, we are having to make some minor changes to our M18 service, particularly in the Wymans Brook, Kingsditch and Swindon Village areas.

 

The changes are required due to the A435 Evesham Road being closed to all traffic between the Racecourse Roundabout, Prestbury and Hyde Lane/Southam Lane junction, Bishops Cleeve. The road closure will take effect from Monday 2^nd June until Monday 8^th September 2025, to allow bridge strengthening and carriageway realignment to accommodate the new cycleway.

 

The M18 will be required to travel via Hyde Lane between Swindon Village and Bishops Cleeve in both directions during the road closure. The current/normal route will need to be changed, and may mean passengers are required to board and alight on the opposite side of the road than they currently do. All bus stops will continue to be served with the exception of the Swindon Lane bus stop on Wymans Lane, Swindon Village, which will be served by a new bus stop located on Church Road next to the primary school. Passengers who board and alight in Bishops Cleeve, Gotherington, Oxenton and Alderton will not be affected by these changes.
