Tewkesbury Mop Fair Road Closures

 

We have been advised of the following road closure affecting our M16 service to/from Winchcombe School.

 

Location of closure:

Barton Street/Nelson Street/Oldbury Road - Tewkesbury

 

Roads closed from:

06:00 on Wednesday 9^th October 2024

 

Road closed until:

07:00 on Friday 11^th October 2024

 

These road closures are required for the Mop Fair taking place on 9^th & 10^th October

 

During the road closure we are unable to serve the following bus stops:

• Oldbury Road (Stokes Court), Tewkesbury in both directions

 

The nearest bus stops for the AM journey are located at:

• Church Street (opposite the Crescent), Tewkesbury @ 07:51

• Temporary bus stop located at Sun Street (Roses Theatre) @ 07:54

 

The nearest bus stops for the PM journey are located at:

• Temporary bus stop located at High Street (Boots), Tewkesbury

• Church Street (the Crescent), Tewkesbury

 

AM Diversionary route:

From Church Street (opposite the Crescent), the bus will travel via the High Street before turning right in to Sun Street and serving the temporary bus stop outside the Roses Theatre. The bus will then turn left in to Oldbury Road to resume the normal route.

 

PM Diversionary route:

From Digby Drive (Allotments bus stop), Mitton the bus will travel via Carrant Road, Bredon Road to the High Street before serving the temporary bus stop outside Boots. The bus will then continue via the High Street to the Church Street (the Crescent) bus stop.
